Built in 1911, this ornate and stunning Greek Revival building was originally home to the Third Church of Christ Scientist. Six soaring columns along with detailed stone and brick work and arched stained glass windows set it apart as one of the most impressive structures in Compton Heights. Most recently, the building was home to the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum before it unfortunately suffered a fire in March of 2019. Most of the original damage was to the roof and rear 2nd level of the building. The roof has not been rebuilt.
